By now it should be pretty clear to most people on this site that we're pretty deep into The Great Decline (economic collapse, Peak Oil, Peak Metals, global warming, etc.). How has this first economic salvo affected everyone's Peak Oil preps? Has it motivated you to purchase more food & supplies or has it taken a bite out of your prep budget?
For us, we are as yet relatively unaffected as most of our assets are not invested and we don't currently have a mortgage. But we are getting extremely anxious about getting into our doomstead, getting our critters, and stocking up on tools and supplies that we just don't have room for in our rental. Anyone have similar issues?
